Pigeon Forge is located in the mountains of East Tennessee just minutes from Knoxville and the McGhee-Tyson Airport. Isaac Love established the first iron forge along the banks of The Little Pigeon River and his son constructed the now famous Old Mill which has become a popular toursit stop. It is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is still operational today.
Today, Pigeon Forge is home to many annual events including Grand Rod Run, Shades of The Past
car show, Winterfest light displays, verterans parade and freedom celebration and many other activities during the year. In October, the leaves start to change and the Fall Foliage brings many visitors to the Smokies for a spectacular display.
